Description
Samsung SonoAce R7
Key Imaging Technologies of the Samsung SonoAce R7
SCI (Spatial Compounding Image™)
SCI technology enhances the SonoAce R7’s image quality by electronically steering ultrasound beams to improve signal-to-noise ratio and contrast resolution. By compounding multiple scan lines, SCI delivers clearer soft-tissue definition with reduced speckle and noise for more confident diagnostics.
3D XI (3D eXtended Imaging™)
3D XI is a powerful suite of imaging tools offering full control over 3D and 4D volume data. Multi-Slice View™ converts ultrasound data into sequential slices, Oblique View™ allows evaluation of volume data in multiple planes, and Volume CT™ provides coronal, sagittal, and axial imaging. Together, these tools enhance diagnostic accuracy from every angle.
Auto IMT
Samsung’s Auto IMT™ automatically measures carotid intima-media thickness, providing essential clinical data such as Framingham Score, risk factors, and graphical analysis. With a single button, users can instantly access Mean, Max, Standard Deviation, and Quality Index measurements for fast cardiovascular assessment.
e-Motion Marker
This feature displays the transducer’s beam direction directly on the screen, offering an intuitive visual reference during examinations. It allows easy identification of uterine and ovarian orientation, improving accuracy in OB/GYN diagnostics.
ElastoScan
ElastoScan is a tissue-elasticity imaging technology that detects stiffness differences in breast and cervical tissues. It converts elasticity information into color-coded images, supporting biopsy guidance, interventional planning, and initial diagnosis of suspicious lesions.
Strain Imaging
The Strain function quantifies cardiac motion using motion vectors to help detect cardiac dyssynchrony. The SonoAce R7’s Strain imaging easily tracks radial speckle movement and provides detailed trajectory and strain information for precise cardiac evaluation.
